MIDI Reset Messages are only available when Additional MIDI Options is selected in Advanced preferences.
These preferences are included for compatibility with older MIDI hardware. For selected controller types, a reset message is sent to all MIDI outputs. This reset message is sent on cycle jumps and when playback begins. However, Logic Pro handles MIDI reset messages automatically and intelligently, so you should generally make sure that all of these options are unselected—which they are, by default.
Software Instruments “Control 64 off (Sustain)” checkbox: Sends a Control 64 off (Sustain) message to all software instruments on cycle jumps and when playback begins.
Software Instruments “Control 1 (Modulation) to zero” checkbox: Sends a set Control 1 (Modulation) to zero message to all software instruments on cycle jumps and when playback begins.
Software Instruments “Pitch Bend to center position” checkbox: Sends a Pitch Bend to center position message to all software instruments on cycle jumps and when playback begins.
External MIDI “Control 123 (All Notes Off)” checkbox:Sends a Control 123 (All Notes Off) message to all external MIDI instruments on cycle jumps and when playback begins.
External MIDI “Control 121 (Reset Controls)” checkbox: Sends a Control 121(Reset Controls) message to all external MIDI instruments on cycle jumps and when playback begins.
External MIDI “Control 64 off (Sustain)” checkbox: Sends a Control 64 off (Sustain) message to all external MIDI instruments on cycle jumps and when playback begins.

External MIDI “Channel Pressure to zero” checkbox: Sends a Channel Pressure to zero message to all external MIDI instruments on cycle jumps and when playback begins.
External MIDI “Pitch Bend to center position” checkbox: Sends a Pitch Bend to center position message to all external MIDI instruments on cycle jumps and when playback begins.
External MIDI “Send used instrument settings on reset” checkbox: Sends used instrument settings to all external MIDI instruments on cycle jumps and when playback begins.
